CD deck problems.

Hi there, I'm having some problems with my CDM-7871 alpine deck.

On some cd's it'll skip during later tracks (usually track 10 and up) But for the first couple tracks it's fine.

Other cd's, it'll play all the way through, no problems.

This happens with burned cd's, and authentic cd's.

All these cd's play fine in my home stereo. They seem to appear fine (not scratched horribly)

Looking at the model # and age, maybe needs a lens cleaning? I've never had this problem before so I'm not sure if those cheap cleaning kits will work or if you'll have to open it up.
