Has anyone tried fitting a Passive SVS CS-Plus or CS-Ultra into a car?

How would it compare to the standard car subs in tube/box/trunk enclosure types?

Send that over to Ron or Tom of SVS. I think one of them has done this before.

And somewhere on ye 'ol internet I read that someone was using an older SVS sub in a custom box in their car and it was kicking some major butt.

I plan on using an Adire Shiva in a sealed sonotube for my sub in my Subaru.

\"A human being is part of the whole called by us the Universe. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest --a kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures, and the whole of nature in its beauty.\" - Albert Einstein

I think SVS subs are tuned to low for ca audio. Ported boxes for car audio are tuned to around 33 hz. Also there are car audio drivers that are comparable and some that are better then the SVS drivers. Ssome of them are also biult at the same build hose as SVS .
