Was wondering what your guys thoughts were on this?? How many people here have done this expensive upgrade. It seems be 170 bucks for a the digital connection. In my opinion, the price is holding me back on the upgrade.

Question... Xm is delivering a 2 channel stereo format correct??? So in our Dolby Digital receivers via this new Toslink Optical, you would not be able to engage DPL2 with the Digital connection to do any sort of Multi Channel Mixing if you choose???

2 Channel Purists can line up to shoot me!!! LOL!!

Steve,

If you own a Delphi SkiFi unit already
(which you do), the upgrade is only $99.
You simply send your unit in via mail. The
turnaround time is a few days at the most.

That $170 price is for a new unit with
the connection.

Which is not as bad, still expensive though....

I would like to hear from some members that own the upgraded unit that have it hooked up through their Home Theater Systems... Anyone here using that configuration???

I'm curious if you get locked out of DPL2... Which I'm pretty sure you would being it's a Digital Bit Stream... DPL2 Music IMHO delivers a nice wide atmospheric soundstage which I love for my casual listening habits, and the digital connection will prolly lock it up

Anyone???

Steve,

Usually I hate to throw people to another forum
to get their questions answered, but XM411
is an affiliate of this forum and I couldn't
be happier to show you the way....

Ask your question there. You may get a little
more exposure than you would here.
