My radar detector came with a power cord that has a feature that allows you to mute the alarm with a push of a button on the plug end that goes into the cigarette lighter.the green light stays on showing power is getting to the detector. I want to say the red light next to the mute button doesn't come on when the alarm sounds, and the button has no effect on totally muting the alarm. The mute button on the radar detector works fine though. I'm hoping it's just a fuse inside the power cord plug adaptor. Does anybody else have experience with this situation?
