Car MP3 player question...

Hi all...

I've got an MP3 player with the standard cassette player connection. Trouble is, I just got a new car and it doesn't have a cassette deck in it...I was so excited to get the new car that I didn't even remember that little fact. It's a Mazda 6, and the radio is part of the dash, so no chance of an aftermarket radio going in...

So...my question is, do any of you know of a way for me to use my MP3 player without the cassette deck? Some sort of converter box or wiring shortcut or something?

Or...is there a car MP3 player that doesn't need the cassette interface?

Thanks in advance!

Jack

You need an FM Modulator like this.

If you want the highest quality audio, you might try finding a PIE adapter that has aux inputs. It will probably run about $100, and may be hard to find since the Mazda 6 is so new. Your factory head unit also has to have CD Changer controls for these adapters to work.
