reciever: pioneer elite 91 txh--soon there will be a top mounted silent fan for additional cooling.
dvd player: pioneer elite dv-58 or dv-59 avi(haven't bought yet) whichever version may end up being modded i have not decided yet.
tv: panasonic lcd projection 56 inch 1080i
control: sony av commander
fronts: 2x pioneer elite tz-f700(300w built-in amp)
center: pioneer elite tz-c700(150w built-in amp)
surround: 4x pioneer elite tz-s700
subs: 2x rbh 12-ap(300w built-in amp)
surge suppression: 1 monster hts-1000 need another one for the subs.
ups: not sure on brand but i am getting a 500-750. just need it on long enough to cool down the tv in a power loss.
STAGE 2:
adding in a dual core 3.2 ghz amd home built HTPC
Generic mid-tower case--I elected to use an actual pc case over a htpc case for improved cooling and more space for additional hardware
4gb of ddr2 800 memory
1 1tb internal drives and an unknown number of external 1tb drives
msi k9a platinum mobo
asus silent square pro cpu cooler
1 internal samsung fast dvd burner(may upgrade to blu-ray later)
ati 3870 for gfx
850w psu
1000-1500 UPS
4 120mm silent fans for cooling using a 4 port fan controller and possibly 3 more silent fans using mobo ports
connect to reciever via hdmi for monitor
will connect to reciever via TOSLINK cable for sound
IR keyboard with trackball
will connect to a cat6 1gb wired/300mb wireless network for streaming
i am basically using the htpc now but it is currently my gaming machine, i am waiting for some new processors and mobo's to come out q1 09 to build my gaming machine and convert this rig to a htpc.
it will also have a fios connection to dl "screening movies" .
