Finish on home sub?? Rhino liner? or ??

I was thinking about a finish on a home sub enclosure that looks aesthetic to the eye. I was thinking about using that herculon liner that you can get at the auto store or maybe rhino line it. Rhino is probably too expensive but does anyone have any other ideas and it can be fabric or ???

thank you

If you like the look or rhino liner, than yeah it will work. Other options consist of veneer, gloss, fabric, and rugs. It all comes down to what you'd like to see on your subwoofer.

I used a version of Herculiner I got at Menards on my boat. It would look awful on a sub. It's a very thick, bumpy texture.

If you built your enclosure from MDF, then the ends still need to be sealed up. I've read of everything from wood sealer to primer to a glue/water mix to epoxy. I've tried just primer and the glue/water mix plus primer. The 2nd is much better. For my latest speakers, I will be going with a coating of fiberglass epoxy, then primer and finally Duplicolor Paintshop.
