Semi-noob needs some input

Let me begin by saying I stumbled across this incredibly informative site while researching a solution to a problem I am facing. Ive looked all over this site, but havent come across anyone who is doing what I am intending to do... so, if this post is duplicative (or in the wrong place) I apologize in advance.

Here is the situation:
I am completely remodeling my kitchen and want to surprise my fiance with a TV that is hidden in a recess. The TV will be a 32 inch LCD. Of all the models I have looked at, I can guesstimate that the TV will weigh 40-45 pounds and will be 5-7 inches deep.

My original idea was to have the TV slide in and out on the rails used for heavy drawers, then have it pivot on an arm (similar to the ones I use in my office to mount my monitors). For example, see here:
(I cant post the link bc I am new... its at ergostoreonline dot com - model # FCD-110

The objective is to have the TV on an arm that can be moved into a variety of positions for varying viewing angles. I have an image below that will illustrate what I am doing here. Sorry for the poor image quality, I can't post a link to my external site until I have ten posts. I can email better pics if anyone would like me to.

I have two concerns:
1.) The 32" TVs weigh more than I expected (about 45 pounds) and I am concerned about having it extend out on that shelf railing (the blue bar in the image). To solve that problem, I figured I could mount two rails (top and bottom) then rig a frame to more evenly distribute the weight.

2. I am having trouble finding pivot arms that will support the weight. I am thinking I should go with an arm that can hold 50 pounds - that should give me a little leeway with the TV.

If anyone wants to see more pictures, just let me know.

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I need to come up with a solution by early next week.

(PS - I can't do a recessed TV behind the sink without doing some major engineering on the pipes. Oh well... Also, I just finished creating an HT in another room and sure wish I had known about this site a year ago!!!! )
