Suspended Ceilings?

I have just started on my HT and am considering a suspended ceiling? Are there any problems with them 'buzzing'? Other problems or recommendations?

thanks,

Re: Suspended Ceilings?

I've never had that problem with mine. I installed the "Ceiling Max" system, which uses all plastic components.

Re: Suspended Ceilings?

While I calibrate my sub with the test tones, my ceiling buzzes at different locations depending on the frequency. However I have never noticed any buzzing or rattling during a movie.

Re: Suspended Ceilings?

I have a friend that had some problems with this and we put small bags of sand on top of the panels to deaden them.
