Inexpensive Switcher with 2 component outputs

Hi there,

I did a fairly comprehensive search and came up empty (found some nice switchers but $200 seems pretty steep). Anyhoo, here's my situation. I am in the middle of planning my latest HT. I will have a 32" LCD in the front, and a 92" screen which will pull down in front of it. So every input I have needs to have two outputs, one for the projector and one for the flatscreen.

Another problem I have is only two digital in's on my receiver - which leaves me little roomn for growth, since they're occupied with DVD & cable.

In other words, my solution might be a receiver which has two component outputs. HDMI is ok too I guess, but not that important right now. I like to keep it simple, even at the expense of a tiny bit of quality (both my screens only support 720p anyway). If a receiver is the answer, then a cheap one is preferred, since I have pretty bad tinnitus (chronic ringing) so sound quality just has to be ok for me.

Thanks very much,
Mike

Re: Inexpensive Switcher with 2 component outputs

OK - did some more switching and came up with a cheeseball answer:

This is a simple splitter - one source going to two display targets:
I can't post the url (HTF anti-spam rule) but it's on monoprice, seach for 2899.

What about attaching that to the output of a 4:1 switch? Am I being crazy? Would the splitting not result in signal degradation if I'm only using one monitor at a time?
