I have an Apex DVD Player tied into my Home Theater System by Sungale.

Every time I hit a key on my DVD remote -- any key at all -- the volume increases. So when I advance four chapters I press the advance key four times and when the movie resumes the volume is WAY TOO HIGH. Has anyone ever had this problem and if so, is there a fix?

I realize that Apex and Sungale are cheap, but with the exception of this annoying problem, everything works satisfactorily.
