How do I make a demo DVD?

I just got my home theater together, which consists of:

Pioneer HD5070 50" Plasma
Pioneer Elite Amp (84)
And Focal speakers...

I would like to take appx 10 scenes from different movies (good surround sound scenes) and compile them on my own DVD to show off the system.

My question is: what software can I do this with?

I currently use Pinnacle Studio 10.x, and although it will import the movie and allow me to "edit" the timeline, this program spins the hard drive for HOURS when trying to move throughout the timeline. I've found this software good for smaller jobs...

I've tried Adobe Premiere Pro - but it doesn't seem to let you "capture" DVD stuff - only stuff from MiniDV tapes...

I'm also running AnyDVD (By slysoft) to "disable" the copyprotection.

What's the best way to do this? What software can someone recommend? Most importantly, the software needs to keep the widescreen format, and be able to burn back to a DVD+R...

Thanks for any tips...

Sorry, bypassing copy-protection is a forbidden topic here. As was stated the last time someone posted this type of thread, both Dolby and DTS have demo disks available for sale on their sites. Anything else can be found on the net, but that topic cannot be discussed here.

No problem - lame as your answer is (not like I'm trying to "pirate")

Not too polite an answer coming from someone who has 1 day on the forum, chief. If you stopped to think before your rudeness, you would realize that although you might not be "pirating"; the techniques you use to to make a demo disk, such as bypassing copy protection, could also be used to make illegal copies and thusly are not to be discussed according to the rules of this forum. You did read the rules, did you not?

Again, at no time did I accuse you of illegally copying anything, I only said that the discussion of copying techniques is not allowed. I even gave you a source for some commercially available demo disks. If that is "lame", well then I guess maybe this is not the forum for you.

And that's why this topic isn't allowed on HTF.
