HELP: Panamax Max 5100: UNSAFE VOLTAGE???

I have a HT with a Panamax Max 5100 and twice in the last 4 months has had the red light "Unsafe Voltage" go off and my system no longer has electricity. The last time the next morning it was up again.

Does anyone have familiarity with this unit? What it does? What "Unsafe Voltage" mean and what I should do in light of this light going off?

Thank you
Tony

Re: HELP: Panamax Max 5100: UNSAFE VOLTAGE???

Sounds like the Panamax is using the Surgegate Plus Protection feature. If the Max 5100 senses an unsafe power condition it will automatically disconnect your equipment from the power to protect equipment from damage. Unsafe voltage LED is acivated and will blink once every 2 seconds during the unsafe voltage condition. The Max 5100 requires line voltage to return to within the safe operating range for 10 seconds before returning to normal operating mode.
Bottom line sounds like Max is doing its job and you may have a voltage problem.
