What do you think of a Universal Battery for Portable DVD Players?

OK, so here is the deal. I just bought a cheap portable DVD player from CompUsa. http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...34206&pfp=cat3 I am going on a trip and this is to keep the kids happy on a trans atlantic flight with a long layover. So, I am looking into additional batteries. I found one from Radio Shack that I think is good. http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...032056.2032152 Has anybody ever used it? Another kind? Thanks for any input.

I've never used one but it seems like a good idea. You may want to investigate other options. I did a search on external batteries on Google and found lots of stuff.

Just make sure the voltage is correct and get the highest mah hour rating you can to extend the run time and you should be good to go.
You may also want to check with the airline and see if the plane has 12v power available at your seat for laptops. An adapter may be cheaper than a battery.
