Is it ever really completed? Here's mine...

I doubt you will ever hear me say that mine is completed. But, I have NEARLY completed the room. I have a few knick-knacks to buy yet. These will be hung in the wall panels on the sides. Kind of like a montage in each panel representing genres maybe... not sure. But, I do plan on hanging a working wall phone in one of the panels... a working prop so to speak...

Since this pic was taken, I have raised the rear set of seats up 6".

Here is a listing of equip I am using:
Projector - Sony VPL-HS51a
Screen - Dalite Cinema Contour
Receiver - Yamaha HTR-5990
Speakers - Klipsch Synergy Series
fronts = F-3's
center = C-2
sides = S-2's
rears = Panasonics (from the boneyard for now)
sub = Synergy Sub 12"
Cable Box - HD box from the folks at Cox Communications
DVD player - Currently the LG LDA-511
CD player - Sony 200 disc changer

That's why I have yet to install the baseboard and why I haven't covered the rear seat decking in carpet yet... Too many movies to watch.

Thanks David for peeking in and for the reply... I was beginning to wonder if anybody was really out there.

Greg

Greg,

I'm wondering what has happened to everybody. These forums seem to be getting less and less traffic. When I was working on my theater a year ago they were so much more active. My gallery is still getting visitors (nearing 11,000 views) and I haven't linked it outside the forum, but I'm worried why no one is here. This is such a wonderful forum and the upgrade has been nicely done. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

David
