This is the place to post links to your (non-commercial, please) Home Theater Sites if you wish to spread the news and also promote discussions about the specifics of your HT. Yes, we already have a HOME THEATER GALLERY section
here where you can post links to your HT sites or even post pictures if you don't have a formal site, but that area, while valuable, is not really as accessible nor conducive to on-going dialogues as the traditional "forum" model. It also resulted in some confusion as to where a member should post questions to another member regarding something found in the gallery.
The idea came from
this thread started by a member and resulted in this new area being created. We hope that as the word gets out more and more people will take advantage of the resources here. Where appropriate, we will redirect existing and new threads regarding personal home theaters to this area from other sections on the forum. We think such topics and links are best served by being located here.
Note: Please don't think that this means that you should stop posting links to on-going construction in the HT CONSTRUCTION, INTERIORS and AUTOMATION section of the forum. That's the proper place to discuss and show off your projects as they progress and it's vital to the success of that section.. This section should be where you "announce" your finished HTs, just before you put that first DVD in the player.
