Yes Chris is right sorry I was so excited I should have been more clear. Last year the 500w got down to $198 but I don't think that will happen again.

The 500W plate amp works well with my AE Speakers AV12 woofer. It's a great combination I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I concur Rory, the 500 watt seems to be a great amp for the money even though I just finished my sub last week. Really pushes the Tempest well even though for most it may be overkill. Nice to have the extra power for future upgrades or the additional headroom.
