HT Room (black wall plates)

Hey, I'm almost done with my HT room, but having a difficult time finding some black wall plates. Not sure if I will just need to paint some, but I thought I might try here to hopefully find some. Here is what I need IN BLACK :
1 cat 5e wall plate
1 coax cable wall plate
2 binding post wall plates that connect 1 speaker on each
1 binding post wall plate that connects 6 speakers

Thanks!

If you have a Home Depot near you they can special order them from Leviton. A couple of bucks per plate and probably $5-$8 for each snap in connector. They are modular, meaning you build your own wallplate. They can special order them in the electrical department.

Those are ideal, but I don't know if the actual modules come in black. If not you can always use Krylon Fusion spraypaint - specially formulated for plastics and works perfectly. Just remove the gold hardware from the snap in housing and let 'er rip.

Yep they come in black and many other colors.

Go to the page I linked, go towards the bottom where they show all of the different connections types and click on the cat5e. On the left middle there will be a color chart.

Heck, you can even get it in purple, that way as you sit looking at your wallplates, instead of you 61" HDTV, you will be relaxed. Purple is a relaxing color.

Hmm...
When looking at the page I can see that for the cat 5 I can get black, but the binding posts and cable snap in things only come in white or ivory. Do you think it'd look stupid to have a black plate with white snap in's?

Maybe I can just buy a plate that has the binding posts and such, make some things out of cardboard to cover up the posts and use the spray paint for plastic....

I think they unscrew from the little plastic square. At least that's how my binding posts looked when I bought some Levitons.

I went with the white, if you curious.
