Safe & Sound?

Hi All,

I am contracting out the finishing of my basement and a certain contractor mentioned that they use a drywall called "safe and sound". I can't seem to goggle anything up on this and am curious if anyone knows about it and can give me a link, or tell me if it is decent stuff. I don't have the space to do the full room in a room setup, so am looking for some minimal things to dampen a bit of sound.

Also, if anyone knows any reasonable contractors in the Toronto area, I'd love a reference.

Roxul makes a 'safe and sound' acoustical product but it isnt drywall. I bet he meant this product.

Hi;

I just finished insulating my HT with "Safe and Sound" Roxul. I am also betting that this is what the contractor meant.

Good luck.

Paul.

Thanks All,

Found the Roxul page and thought I replied to my own post, but it must have not worked.

Best,
