Now I have my HT all set up and kind of dialed in, I was wondering if anyone knew of some resources that gave good instructions for dialing in reciever settings and for room layout managment to get the best possible sound.

I could try google, but I'd rather have one recomended to me that is good, instead of wading through a ton to find one myself.

You can get a set up DVD like Avia and a SPL meter from Radio Shack. The DVD will walk you through the test patterns to calibrate your picture. It also has the test tones for balancing our speaker levels. Here is a link to their web site.
