finishing my rack, legs/posts for the rack, the whole 9 yards

I'm building a sub enclosure, audio rack and tv stand. I might do the rack/stand together. I have a 32 sony Wega around 125 lbs. I'm researching the different DIY posts to find the right one for me (so if you have any flei rack, tv stand designs, I would appreciate an email or link.

I'm leaning towards veneer sheet finishing but am looking for the best options. I'm using MDF for the construction. Where can I find this veneer at? Can it be found locally at a Home depot so I can get it right away or do I have to get it online?

My room is dark red maroon so I'm looking at walnut or cherry finish ( a darker wood color)

I'm also looking at other ideas for 5/8 bolts to give it a more polished look, any ideas? I saw someone covered his bolts with PVC, what do you think?

thanks

Home depot will only have oak veneer. Try oakwoodveneer.com, or ebay which is what I typically do. Good luck.

too broke for sound

The two HD's in my area have NO veneer. I picked up quite a bit on ebay for cheap. Check out the seller woodforu
