in regards to getting ready to buy a whole system and concerned with overlooking and not knowing all equipment, including a component which may be better than what is on my list, yet i may not be aware of or it's feature or lack off vs. a nother piece or product.

panasonic ptae 500u 16x9 projector

panny dvds35k progressive scan dvd

daylite 16 x 9 powered screen

? some kind of rear surround speakers.

moderator please move me where i need to be if this is the wrong forum.

i want any advice before i purchase.

as the total now is 11, 232.77 for this package.

Your best bet to gather information is to search for information on the components in the respective forums. To get the answers you are looking for I think you will need to provide more information as to why you think you need those components, that gives our members some info to go on when they suggest alternatives. The package price doesn't mean anything without knowing if it includes set up, interconnects, mount, the specific size and model of the screen, etc.

the set up is what was put together by a local shop and what they sell.

the components do not come up in a search in the individual component forums.

the brands do, just not the model.

that is why i asked here.
