here we are. i have dual av15 in a 25 cf box tuned to 17hz and a 1000 samson. this is what i am thinking dual 18 with 1000 wats my goal is like 110-120db@12-14hz is dual 18 up to this?

man, i dont know, 110db at 14hz? thats prety serious.

Im not sure youd want to hear 110 db at 14 hz, let alone 120.

It also depends which 18s were talking about, the new avalanche 18s might have a chance at this, but you would probably be out of xmax (not that bad if you have XBL^2) and you might need all 800 watts.

i can do 110db@17 hz aka ring drop sene but it is realey easy to botom out. so i want a bullet proof sub that i can do some serousley stupid things to show off to friends and not look like a fool when the subs botom out. i was eather thinki9ng of 4 av15 but i need to get 4 new ones and a seccond amp. so i figured the avalanche 18s would do the trick or shoul i wait or struke or whatever the new name is for their new 18?

for the dual 18 about 800
for 4 av15 about 1200


thanks for all the replys. my av15 will find homes in my sisters home theaters. 1 in each and they will never use 80% of t 1 15s displacements.
