Simple Wiring Question
Hey all,
This is my first venture into DIY wire termination so you'll have to excuse the newbie question. I just have a simple DIY wiring question that I couldn't find documentation for online. When installing compression-style connectors to speaker wire, how much wire should be exposed at the end to insert into the connector. When I tried it out I left about a quarter-inch of bare wire but it just didn't feel like I was getting solid contact when I screwed on the top half of the connector. Any insight into how much wire to strip would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
