My Flexy Rack/TV stand

Hey I just purchased everything for my own flexy rack/TV stand today.

At my local HD they had 3/4" Birch Plywood on sale cheaper then MDF, so decided to use it.

Gonna try and ANSII art my design:
if you can, imagine it without the -'s

===================
--|---II--------II---|--
===================
--|--------|--------|---
===================
--|--------|--------|---
===================
===------===------===

The II's are wood dividers to help support the top shelf with the TV. I want to be able to place my Center Channel speaker right below the TV. This thing will be 4' long and 2' deep and 30" tall.

For feet I have decided to use wood. Figure I can tap into some pieces and use the extra birch I will have.

I ordered the rods/nuts/washers/etc from McMaster-Carr online, since my local HD just sucked. Total cost is right at $140. This can be b/c I used 6 rods, along with everything being 3/4" instead of the standard 5/8" a lot of people use.

I am going to stain the wood a dark Cherry I think, I will post pics along the way etc.

If anyone has any suggestions, or idea's, let me know, thanks.
