Any non-permanent caulks for driver sealing?

I need to reseal the drivers in my Contrabass after having the enclosure Line-Xed and dont want to deal with poor fitting foam tape for a change.

Caulk would be nice but which ones are best to use?

Thanks

Mortite Rope Caulk is what I use. Home Depot and Lowes should carry this.

Way back Bose used plumbers putty to seal the drivers in the 901s, air tight but not permeant. I have just used silicone on the driver, and let it set a day or two before installation
