IR Relay Without Stick-On Emitters
Forgive me if this has been asked elsewhere. I did a few searches and didn't come up with anything.
I've been looking at new receivers and several note that they have "IR Inputs" on the back.
What I'd like to do is set up an IR receiver at the front of my room, and have IR signals relayed to my equipment in an in-wall rack in the back corner of the room. The thing is, I don't want to "un-pretty" much rack with stick-on emitters.
Does this "IR Input" mean I can plug directly into the back of the receiver? If so, what, exactly do I plug in? The outputs from the IR emitter system? (That sounds a little too much like I want, and a little too easy!)
Thanks in advance,
Dave
