room size for new theater?
I'm working on plans for a new house that might be built in a few years, and want to get some other opinions on a good room size for a theater room. I'm currently using an Infocus X1 on a 112" wide by 52" tall screen. While I will probably have a different screen or even different projector when the time comes, this is about how big I'll be using. What is a good ratio between the width and depth of the room?
So in short, if you had a fairly large basement to work with, what size would you make the theater room?
