Speaker Repair

I have a pair of old old old aDs 500 sitting around that need a little help. The speaker, outside of the rubber surround is peeling away from the basket, I can squeeze some glue in there no prob but am worried about it eating at the surround. Any suggestions. Maybe hot glue?

Use elmars White kids glue

Best to replace the whole surround before u damage the voice coil for uneven movement. Which will mean u will need a new spider voice coil and surround and that in not as easy as just a surround
