Balanced to unbalanced?

Hello all. Is it possible to have an interconnect with balanced on one end and unbalanced on the other? I recall seeing someone selling just the connectors. Thanks in advance.

Sure, although there are a couple ways to go about it... most common is a passive connection that throws away the extra neutral lead and you lose a bit of gain. This is the most simple, and the most common.

I would imagine you could find adapters pretty much anywhere (parts express for example).

Indeed it is. For more than you probably want to know about this, take a look at this link. If you find it of interest, poke around the website for a variety of other interesting articles.

It’s pretty pointless, really. Just use unbalanced on both ends.
