Best way to hook this up....

Pioneer DV-563a DVD
Xbox
27" tv with S-video
Digital Cable with analog outs
HK 125 receiver

I'd like to get the Xbox looking and sounding as good as
possible...as well as movies, dvd-a, and sacd.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to get the picture as good as possible, consider seriously a TV with component inputs..

Well, of course that would be great....but it's not an
option right now.

What I need is some input on the best way to hook up what I currently own.

OK, then itīs according to your preferences, If you watch movies more tha play video games, use the s-video input to hook up your dvd player to the TV, and use composite video to hook up the xbox, if your receiver has a s-video monitor output you can connect the cable signal and the xbox directly to your receiver,
thatīs what Iīd do in your case, I suggest you to visit http://www.monstercable.com/hookup/ Itīll be useful, Good luck, and let me know your thoughts about the site
