I posted this on AVS Forum a few weeks back, and decided to share it with you folks here as well.

After about 2 years of working on weekends/nights, my home theater is ready. My family helped a lot with the building, and I couldn't have done it without them. We did everything except the drywall and carpet.

I don't have a web page designed (yet) but I've linked in some pictures here. Also, since it's pretty dark in there, some of the images lack detail (especially the screen wall picture). Room dimensions are about 20'x12'x8', and it's located in our basement.

So here they are (paste as URL):

http://home.townisp.com/~dmilani/img_1314_s.JPG

http://home.townisp.com/~dmilani/IMG_1321_s.JPG

My equipment is as follows:

-Sony VPL-HS10 projector shining through Edmunds optical glass
-Atlantic Technology AT170 5.1 speaker system
-Sony Receiver (older model)
-JVC W-VHS high-def. VCR
-S.A. 3250HD high-def. cable box
-HTPC
-Middle Atlantic RSH Custom Rackmounts
-Dalite Hi-Power Permwall (92"x52") with Pro-Imager Vertical Masking System
-Bravo D1 DVD player
-Lutron 3104 Grafik Eye
-Berkline 099 seating
-Acoustical Solutions Custom Cut Wall Panels

The seating platform really can't be seen, but I've got louvered step lighting for safety/aesthetics.

Also, the screen wall has cutouts for LCR and Sub and the cavities are each lined with Insulshield. Also, the entire front wall is covered by IS, followed on top by GoM black fabric. The front wall looks completely stealth, so the speaker locations are totally hidden.

Finally, an IR receiver is located behind the front wall GoM, and this feeds the IR distribution block at the rear of the room in the equipment closet.

Please let me know what you think.

Yes, the panels are for sound absorption (they're actually light grey in color).

Thanks,
Dino

Great job. I added the http:// before your links to make them active.

How far back do you have the Sony. Having the projector in the back wall is really cool.

Sweeeeet, I was blown away when I clicked on that first picture!

I just found a new design for the wall treatments I have been wanting to build. Care to give up the secrets on the constructions? Did you listen to the room with out and then with the treatments to see what difference it made. My room is alot like yours and I know I need wall treatment but have not done anything yet.

Thanks for the pics!
