DVD Storage/Equipment Area Idea But Need Help!
Ok, here is my plan. I was thinking of doing an in wall DVD rack with a door that fits flush with the wall and then using a X10 controller get it to open. But then my wife suggested why not use the walk in closet to accomidate both the DVD's & Equipment rack all in one. But what I want to do is have the door flush with the wall then use an X10 remote to open the door & the inside lights would come on. But as for making the door open and close while flush with the wall is where I am running into problems. The parts and everything would be easy to do but the track is a different thing.
I know it sounds weird but its kinda cool that when you walk into the room the door and everything is flush with the wall making it look like you can't open it, then you hit the remote the door moves back and slides over to reveil the dvd storage and equipment area.
Any help would be great ie: track, door, X10......
