How do the Pro Series 2 compare to the Master Series in turns of unadulterated signal transfer?

within the audible range there'll be no difference. outside the audible range, it'll be the one with the lower capacitance.

Below is an email response I got from Max Winebrenner about the AR Master series cables.

Bandwidth is a question that is has no meaning when applied high-end premium cables like AR's Master Series.
The analog audio cables are capable of reproducing signals well below and above the analog recording range.

Component Video cable within the AR Master Series has one of the widest bandwidth ranges available in the market place. In fact AR's Component video cables can reproduce 1Ghz frequencies.

Yes, I'm sure they can as well as a host of others. Some also do 2 gigahertz but in the end it's all academic when one's dealing with short lengths and only a few megahertz coming out of the DVD box. Some performance data for those for whom that's of interest would be nice to see or some construction specs like what RS will send anyone who asks would've been helpful. Nice looking cable in either case.

Thanks guys I guess I will return my Pro series 2 and order up some master series for my dvhs player and my hdtv cable box!
