Blu-ray is a wonderful opportunity for studios who screwed up their standard DVD's...

Say, how's about giving us completely restored, superb-looking HD versions of:

EXODUS
OLIVER!
SOUND OF MUSIC

Please, UA, Sony and whoever - don't go the path of Disney (i.e. GANGS OF NEW YORK) or Fox (PATTON) and screw up your high-def versions of these films!!

Uhhh... "The Sound Of Music" IS Fox.... and there is nothing really wrong with the DVD of "Oliver". Of course I would certainly appreciate new outstanding HD transfers of these aand many other high profile 70mm roadshow releases.

The sound mix on "Oliver!" is nothing to write home about.

Do I even need to go over any of the P&S atrocities again?

Let's hope that MGM can get...

Child's Play

Twins

Pumpkinhead

Honeymoon in Vegas

and

Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins

Right on BD.

In fact i'm prepared to laugh myself into a coma at any studio with the balls to release a film on BD in pain n' scam or open-matted fool-screen lol!

I'm pretty sure that Child's Play and Pumpkinhead are coming to DVD in their correct AR in the fall so when/if there's a Blu-Ray release, that would be correct too. Hopefully.
