Given their track record, I wouldn't count on True HD.

I'm hoping we get Executive Decision (what, it's a guilty pleasure!). Besides, it was released on DVD in 1997 so the picture quality has nowhere to go but up.

A renegade techno-expert? He's gonna mix Portishead with Orbital and cause a massive explosion?

Re: WHV Press Release: Warner Home Video Debuts Five New BLU-RAY™ TITLES September 2nd

I've been looking forward to the release of OUTBREAK, UNDER SIEGE 2 and ERASER for a while, and while it's great for those of us who want these titles, you can't exhale cause it's a guessing game as wheter they'll be released with lossless audio. That in itself is really sad because with Warners it really is a guessing game!

Re: WHV Press Release: Warner Home Video Debuts Five New BLU-RAY™ TITLES September 2nd

That's because it depends on when the disc image was finished. If it was finished before they went BD only and fully committed to using lossless audio on all releases its not guaranteed a TrueHD track.

This info per insiders at blu-ray.com.

My DVD/BD Collection
Criterion DVDs Owned: 46, Total DVDs Owned: 561, Blu-ray Discs Owned: 126

I was thinking about picking up Under Siege 2 but saw today on DVDActive that the audio is a standard 5.1 mix.

No TrueHD for this?

That's become an important deciding factor for me in determining which catalogue Blu-Rays to buy.
