Burbank, Calif., May 19, 2008 – The five-time Academy Award® winning classic One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest will make its Blu-ray™ Hi-Def debut on July 15 from Warner Home Video. The psychological drama that swept all five major categories at the Academy Awards® including Best Picture, Lead Actor, Lead Actress, Director (Milos Forman) and Adapted Screenplay stars Jack Nicholson (The Departed), Louise Fletcher (TV’s “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”) and Danny DeVito (TV’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Taxi”). The Blu-ray™ Hi-Def release will include a 36-page collectible book that includes actor and director biographies, film trivia and more.

All bonus materials on the Standard Definition will be included on the Blu-ray™ Hi-Def version which will sell for $34.99 SRP.

In One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest Nicholson stars as Randle P. McMurphy who thinks that a nice rest in a state mental hospital beats a stretch in the pen. The free-spirited convict then fakes insanity and moves in with what he calls the "nuts." Immediately, his contagious sense of disorder runs up against the numbing routine, and the battle lines are drawn. On one side is McMurphy; on the other is soft-spoken Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher), one of the most coldly monstrous villains ever. At stake is the fate of every patient on the ward.
