Trainspotting on Blu-ray....

When is this getting a US release? It's one of my favorite movies but I don't want to have to spend $50 on it! (Unlike Eternal Sunshine which I paid the same amount for on the same site)

I thought about the Japanese release but I would be cautious as to whether or not it will be uncut.
