Finally? IMO, Sony has been one of the best companies when it comes to HD..
Well, to each on his own of course.
I probably pick this up. It´s a sci-fi comedy that actually works.

If true, they better fix the audio drop out when he says "Sense of humor." It's been "Sense of hu___." on all video releases.

I'll never understand the profound and common hate for the sequel--personally, I think it's damn sight funnier than the first film and, as far as the rest of it, it's cut from cloth so similar to the first film (in terms of tone, effects and silly throwaway plot) that I can't grasp what's apparently so offensively different about it...

Well, it has been a long time since I've seen it, but I'm not about to take the bullet of watching it again just so I can 'speak more intelligently' on the subject. That being said, I equate Men in Black II to Airplane II: The Sequel, in that, yeah, they're basically the same movie as their original, but 'the magic' or 'freshness' is gone. It is a rehash that feels like it is exactly that.
A lot of what I felt was wrong with it had to do with either Tommy Lee Jones' lack of screen time, or the change in dynamic between Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. |
