Re: Consolidated HD Bargain Thread!

The FYI near me, as of a couple of weeks ago, was having buy-2-get-1-free on all used discs.

Unfortunately, the used BD and HD-DVD discs were mostly $26 apiece!

X-gates, Ric. Scour around for any Sunday A-T-U. There is a coupon in the Sunday cartoon section (last page) for 40% off any used dvd (or CD) @ FYE. That's why I was there!

Boy, not for me, Sam! We'll have to compare when we each get ours (and when we ordered them!)

If Sam is talking about Buy.com or Amazon...I get what I order in 2 days as well. They must have a warehouse in NJ, Pa., or NY.

i get mixed results with the free shipping.

sometimes i get it the day before or the release day or withing 2 days after i order.

i ordered Legend sunday with free shipping at Amazon, so we'll see when i get it.

according to amazon, it has't been shipped or prepped for shipping yet.

I ordered Saturday, 3-15 and it says to expect items to be shipped 3-24!

I have another order I'm waiting for that was ordered 3-9, shipped 3-13 and delivery is expected 3-24. If the 3-24 is true, that would be 15 days from the order date!

I'm not in any rush...or I would have paid the few extra bucks for speedier shipping. It's just taking a little longer than I would have expected, that's all.
