Casablanca

Forgive me if this has been raised before but I see that WB has released a stellar, reference quality edition of Casablanca in HD format. When is this going to be released in Blu-ray?

Thanks, Brandon. Hopefully they also have The Adventures Of Robin Hood and The Maltese Falcon in the pipeline.

Another gem that Warner still hasn't released on Blu-ray is Forbidden Planet. One of my all time favorites.

Another one of my favorites which I'll snap right up. Hopefully this will also be released in the near future. It's already out on HD and is on Crawdaddy's TBA BR list. I just hope it's as nicely done as the 50th Anniversary 2-disc release.

The HD DVD of Casablanca is beautiful, and the other bonus is the Looney Tunes cartoons included are in HD.

Re: Casablanca

These discs sold poorly on HD DVD, so WHV may be waiting for a larger install base before releasing on BD. They all look great, though.

Beautiful is an understatement. I have never in my life seen such a pristine black and white image. Breathtaking.
