I'll participate in a petition if anyone is so inclinded to start one.

Where are all the guys who organize those silly "buy days" all the time? Here's something to make their time and efforts more productive.

I have just sent off my complaint about the framing issue to Disney and I urge everyone here to do the same. Unless we let them know about it and that we would like to see it corrected. Then nothing will ever get done and its possible that no one is even aware of the problem yet. I went to there web site and in the yellow highlighted area along the top of the page. It says report a problem:

Update: Ok I was in the middle of this post as Romier S posted. So it is good to hear that Disney is aware of the problem and has allready taken the steps to correct it. I would like to give Disney alot of credit for taking care of this issue and hope to get the information about getting the discs exchanged with the corrected disc.

Pirates Of The Caribbean 1-2 are some of my favorite movies in my HD collection. And I intend on owning At Worlds End very soon. I would also like to say good job on there Cars title on Blu-ray.

While not as soon as many had hoped for in this thread, it's much sooner than I was expecting (I was saying Q1 2008 as late as yesterday).

it's still Q1 2008 since we can't really use that service yet until it's ready.

you folx remember back to the future framing issue for parts 2&3? i remember sending it in and going, what if they didn't receive these discs?

Very happy to hear that the replacement disc is forthcoming. I received this disc just as news of the framing issue broke out and haven't watched it or the second film because of the wait for a replacement. Glad the wait won't be too much longer.

I am feeling very good about this problem getting resolved quickly. I reported the problem on the Disney site yesterday and received an email the today. I can not wait for the new corrected discs to be available. I plan on watching all three movies back to back as soon as I get the corrected disc.
