'Talk To Me' from Universal in October

This will probably be on my buy list.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced an October HD DVD arrival for the acclaimed sleeper 'Talk To Me'.

Based on the story of Washington D.C. radio personality Ralph "Petey" Greene, an ex-con who became a popular talk show host and community activist in the 1960s, 'Talk to Me' failed to make much of a dent in theaters but drew widespread critical acclaim, particularly for Don Cheadle's showstopping performance as Greene.

Tech specs include a 1080p/VC-1 transfer and audio in Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround.

It is good to see another Universal release with TrueHD.

  • 252 HD DVDs, 65 BD DVDs, and over 1560 - SD DVDs and going down
  • New buying strategy - I will continue to buy Universal and Paramount HD DVD's, but if it available in both formats, Blu-ray now gets my purchase.
