Heh. Any chance it includes the "unreduced" "Knickknack"?
Jay's Movie Blog - A movie-viewing diary.
Transplanted Life: Sci-fi soap opera about a man placed in a new body, updated two or three times a week.
Trading Post Inn - Another gender-bending soap, with different collaborators writing different points of view.
"What? Since when was this an energy ball movie?" - Overheard during a screening of Takashi Miike's Dead Or Alive
"What the hell religion are you people?" - Overheard during the Captain Marvel serial at SF/29
"If I feel even one bullet hit me, I will rip your lungs out through your nostrils!" - Ron Silver as himself, "Heat Vision And Jack"

Re: Pixar short film collection - 09/25
Excellent. Should we assume that the shorts won't be included on Pixar theatrical releases any longer?
*sigh* One more title to add to the ever increasing BD Want List.

I'm interested in this, and at the same time disappointed at the idea that these won't be tag along special features on the main titles.

Knickknack is reduced on the upcoming Blu-ray...I have the nippley version on a dvd I recorded from the Toy Story laser.
There's no reason to think that the movies the shorts originated on wont have the shorts as well, at least I hope not.

Re: Pixar short film collection - 09/25
I'd imagine that future releases will likely continue to have new shorts or at least the same ones that were on the SD discs for already released films.

Re: Pixar short film collection - 09/25
I find Surf's Up to be a compelling release as well. Talk about an underrated film. I think it was much overlooked because of Happy Feet, but shared nothing in common other than penguins.
Amazing animation here, and since it's a Sony release, lossless sound as well.
