Ack, now I'm thinking of cancelling my pre-order of the new Taxi Driver DVD, even though I don't have a Blu-ray player (yet).

paidgeek works for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment - everything he has said thus far has turned out to be accurate, and he has been a huge help for getting new features put into the PS3 firmware updates that we have requested.

beatboy77 is a guy who reviews BDs for UpcomingDiscs.com and since he is in e-mail contact with the publicity folks at each studio because he is a reviewer, he sees himself as an Insider and posts every little tidbit and rumor they send him. His track record is horrendous.

When Beatboy posted his "Troy: Director's cut" info. 12 days before any other site had it, people attacked him, challenged him there as usual. But when his info. WAS confirmed, not one stepped up to say, "whoops, you were right..."

It clearly says "rumors" in the title of this thread and I know that at least Paidgeek is a real insider.. At least I´m going to wait with "Taxi Driver".

Just to spark some conversation and speculation here.
