New rumor suggests that Finding Nemo will hit BD second quarter of next year. So, yes, it seems Disney is going to open up the Pixar catalog.

Re: Ratatouille BD

Not a huge deal but no more swooshes on the cover gets a thumbs up for me.

Sigh... actually that *is* a huge deal for me. I hated that "widescreen" banner BV put on their early DVD cover art too.

Re: Ratatouille BD

Big Deal for me too! I despise the fact that almost all the Disney/ Buena Vista discs have covers you want to replace as soon as you get home!

Cars is probably the best cover that incorporates the swoosh. As they're both Pixar and the same day, I wonder why Ratatouille avoided one?

Finally I'm beginning to itemize BD discs to get when I buy a BD player!

Well at least with POTC: AWE it will match the previous POTC releases. I'm always up for consistency across similar titles. Too bad it's just consistently bad.

Looks like the top ellipse is replacing the swoosh - thank god!

But surely without a swoosh, Pirates WON'T match...

Oops, you're right. I read Brett's post wrong. It won't match.
