*** Official HTF HD Formats Comparison Thread *See Post 957, p. 32*
This is the Official HTF HD Formats Comparison Thread.
Want to discuss Nielsen numbers? Talk about the different bitspace/bandwidth of the HD-formats? Audio codecs that are or aren't mandatory? Discuss BD+? Tell us why one format should rule them all? Or why two formats should go on competing with each other? Do it here.
But nowhere else!
All HTF Rules still apply.

Re: *** Official HTF HD Formats Comparison Thread
So the Blu-ray / HD DVD War...the end is near thread is finally closed. To quote one of my favorite films: "This will be a day long remembered."
DVD & Blu-ray - It's all about the movies!

Now that is a major accomplishment. HD and BD combined sales finally out sold the nearly dead VHS format. Heck, I didn't even know anyone was releasing anything other than 1.99 titles in VHS.

Toshiba HD-XA2, HD Add-on, Panasonic DMP-BD10A Pioneer VSX-94TXH, Panasonic PT-AE 2000U 1080p (delivered but not mounted yet) 252 HD DVDs, 65 BD DVDs, and over 1560 - SD DVDs and going down New buying strategy - I will continue to buy Universal and Paramount HD DVD's, but if it available in both formats, Blu-ray now gets my purchase.
