The Office on HDDVD...WHEN?????

I would think this would be a key release for Universal to make to push HDDVD. The have the first season of Hero's coming out in August as an exclusive release for HDDVD. And I think that it will have a big impact. I haven't watched more than an episode but I can tell you I am eagarly awaiting it.

But the other major tv show that I think Universal should get going is the Office. It is another broadcast HD tv show that would be very well received on HDDVD.

Universal has a great library of TV shows they could start pumping out to assist the HDDVD format. So where are the announcements???

I love The Office(it's my favorite comedy on TV) and I'm an HD-DVD supporter, but I honestly don't know if I would buy season sets of this show in HD. I have seasons 1 & 2 on DVD and that's really enough for me right now. I save my HD purchases for movies like The Matrix and Batman Begins that really show off the format.

I agree with Brent. I'm a huge fan of the show and own the 1st 2 on DVD already. And I think it looks pretty darn good on that format. I'm sure HD DVD would be even better but I wouldn't shell out another $50 or so for it.
