...trust me, we are all waiting for the studios to put out
better titles on this format.

I would expect Batman Begins in a few short months.

I've always suspected we'd see it released around the same time as Superman Returns. And that title's reportedly due out in mid to late November.

And on the subject of better titles, Ron, I think yesterday's press release by WB qualifies. T3 and Adventures of Robin Hood might not cause people to break down and upgrade to an HD-DVD player, but they are big name releases IMO.

Closer...closer...closer.

When it actually arrives, I'll upgrade

This is NOT my favorite film...but it is the one that has me most anticipating HD.

This is my Rubicon,

Greetings

The film is in the can so to speak already. The folks at MS have already finished with it sometime ago so it is just waiting for the Studio release time.

Yes. I'm with you on this. Batman Begins is definately on my Top 10 list of what I want on HD DVD.

This is the movie that pretty much sold me on HD-DVD. I saw the demo for it and Kong at Best Buy, and I eagerly anticipate watching both before the end of the year.

Warner and the HD camp is probably waiting for this in late October or right around the release of the PS3...at least thats what I would do.

Since Blu-Ray got off to a pretty bad start....it's only inevitable that they catch some momentum. There are plenty of A titles just waiting for the green light to be released on HD-DVD....

Batman Begins & Superman Returns just a few.

I thought that Warner is releasing both HD-DVD and Blu-ray product.
Has something changed?
