Universal Studios Add New Titles to October HD DVD Release Slate
Universal Studios Home Entertainment has indicated that on October 24, 12 Monkeys, Out of Sight, Spartacus and The Thing will join Slither and The Interpreter to be released on HD DVD. These four titles herald the introduction of a possibly new HD DVD special feature to be included on Universal Studios' HD DVDs called "My Scenes". Which I suppose is similar to scene-bookmarking feature provided on all Warner HD DVD releases but is yet to appear on Universal Studios' HD DVDs. Bonus materials on these HD DVDs should be similar to those on their DVD releases.

i hope this information about the aspect ratio is just a typo error. because if universal starts to crop this masterpiece, i surely wont buy it!!!

Given John Carpenter's hatred for Pan & Scam, it's gotta be a typo.
As for the titles themselves, props to Universal for all the support it's giving HD-DVD. Out of Sight and Spartacus will be mine!

I'd expect that at least the feature will be on one disc no problem (only 3h 17min). But depending on what the extras are, they could have to go to two discs. Paramount is going 2 discs for M:I 3 as a marketing choice, so Universal may just do the same with this. It will be interesting to see how this materializes.

wow =). outside of the searcher, is this the 2nd old title (ie pre-star wars) to have come out? this is awesome. this is making me wish i had a HD player =).
i'd get that and 12 monkey.
